About the Conference

Information Technology for Development (IT4D) is an international conference that aims to serve as a forum for researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and development workers who wish to share their experience and knowledge of how the power and capabilities of information technologies (IT) can be harnessed for social equity, democracy, and economic advancement in developing countries like Nepal.

Established in 2012, this annual conference brings together researchers, entrepreneurs, and development practitioners from around the world who are interested in exploring the use of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) for the development of Education, Health, and Environment.

Authors are invited to submit concept papers (500–800 words) adhering to IEEE standards. These are structured extended abstracts that provide a clear overview of the proposed research.

  • Font: Times New Roman (as per IEEE template)
  • Layout: Single-column or as specified in template

Review Process

All submitted concept papers and full papers will undergo a double-blind peer review process by the Program Committee. Acceptance decisions will be based on originality, technical quality, relevance to the conference themes, clarity of presentation, and contribution to the field of IT for development.
