  1. What is the objective of this conference?
    The overarching goal of this conference is to serve as a platform for sharing experience and insights regarding the use of IT for development.
  2. Who should attend this conference?
    Primary audience are expected to be researchers, practitioners, policy makers, and development workers. However, students seeking to build a career in IT and development sector may also benefit from this conference.
  3. How can somebody contribute in this conference?
    One major way to contribute is by submitting research articles and case studies for presentation. You may also support the conference by attending it or by working as volunteers in various capacities.
  4. What is the expected outcome of this conference?
    We expect to raise the awareness at a national level regarding the role of IT for development. All presented research articles and case studies will be published as the conference proceedings which will be distributed to the conference participants. It is our belief that such literature will provide a much needed intellectual foundation to developing countries.
  5. Is Nepal going to be the focus of this conference?
    Yes, we expect a majority of the papers having a focus on Nepal. However, this is not absolutely necessary. As long as the papers have IT and development theme, they will be considered eligible for this conference.

  7. Is this a one-time conference?
    No, this is not. The conference was conducted earlier in 2012, 2014, 2016 , 2017 and 2018. It is going to be held on November 2019.
  8. Who is organizing this conference?
    Deerwalk Institute of Technology is the primary organizer of this conference.
